ABOUT US

2018 marked the 75th Anniversary of Norma Lodge and we continue to grow from strength to strength.

Our membership is made up of people from many different trades and backgrounds and we pride ourselves on being a wecoming and supportive Lodge.

Like all Freemasons Lodges, our main aim is to make good men better with our members aiming to shape their lives round our five core principles.

Integrity: We say what we mean and we keep our promises.

Kindness: Although our families come first, we believe in playing a key role in our communities by supporting charitable ventures.

Honesty: We pride ourselves on openness, about what being a Freemason means for us.

Fairness: We treat everyone as equal – we listen to others, explore any differences and look for common ground.

Tolerance: We respect the opinions of others and behave with understanding towards them.

We are also a very socially orientated lodge and hold several events throughout the year, including ladies weekends, white table cabaret nights and video horse race evenings which are open to all.

Our History

NORMA LODGE No. 5902 was formed at 2.30 p.m. on 22nd of October 1943 at a Consecration Meeting held at Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street, London.

The name NORMA was adopted as its meaning is threefold,

  • A Perfect Square

  • A Perfect Pattem

  • A Constellation in the southern hemisphere between Scorpius and Centaurus
